I’m Aniefiok ‘Neef’ Ekpoudom, a freelance storyteller from South London who documents and explores British culture. As a writer, I tell stories about the emerging voices and sounds of contemporary Britain. While, as a Researcher & Strategist I dive deep into communities and cultures across the country, delivering insights, strategy and people-driven stories for brands, agencies and production companies.
To put things simply, I get under the skin of the country and tell stories about what I find. The medium may be features in The Guardian or ethnographic studies with Nike, documentary’s with production companies or award-winning campaigns with adidas.
Elsewhere, I’m a proud contributor to Safe: On Black British Men Reclaiming Space, an anthology of 20 essays cataloguing the Black British male experience. SAFE was released in March 2019 via Trapeze.
Hit me up if you'd like to know more about any of the above.
