Resident Advisor is the world’s foremost platform for discovering electronic music, artists and events. Described by the NY Times as “the most influential electronic music site in the world”, every month RA reaches more than 5m people across its web, mobile and app properties.

Person spec:

- A marketing background advantageous 

- Strong project management and organisation skills

- A passion for and deep understanding of electronic music 

- Enthusiasm to learn and contribute as part of a team

- A strong attention to detail 

- Understanding and usage of social media 

- Alignment with the values of Doors Open and Resident Advisor


Required and desired skills:

- Working with the Community team to deliver Doors Open mission and purpose

- Management of the Doors Open platform (job approvals, submissions and site admin)

- Developing relationships with and onboarding new employers 

- Educating relevant companies on the benefits of the platform

- Working with the marketing team to conceive and implement communication strategies

- Content ideation for Doors Open social channels  

- Content management on Doors Open social channels 

- Ownership of support request system 

- Ensuring Doors Open listings are always up to date

- Support the Head of Community with the development, management and promotion of RA’s global community partnerships strategy

- Support the Head of Community on our flagship partnerships

- Manage community partnerships microsite

- Project manage and deliver RA industry short-course


Minimum qualifications required:

This is a fixed-term entry-level role, no previous experience or education background is required.

Doors Open is central to this community work. Its mission is to become a champion of youth and minority employment in electronic music.  It exists to demystify the electronic music industry, opening up access to those who might not otherwise have a clear entry point. 


We are looking for a coordinator to assist with the day to day operations of the world’s leading electronic music jobs board and to support the Head of Community to deliver our global community partnerships strategy. This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to get a start in the music industry who cares about affecting positive change within our industry.
