Virtual volunteering to support young people build skills and confiden

What can we do to support young people be ready for work in the new situation we find ourselves in?

This summer we're moving our employability programmes online, to help young people build skills, confidence and connections to become ready for work. In July 2020 we'll be running our first virtual business experience week for young people, with a packed agenda covering topics including entrepreneurship, storytelling and marketing.

We have a variety of volunteering opportunities, whether you can offer less than an hour of your time or a longer term commitment, and we want as many volunteers as possible to share a wide range of career paths and insights with young people as possible. If you'd like to find out more, please get in touch!

The EY Foundation is an independent UK charity, supporting young people who face significant barriers to employment. EY Foundation brings young people and employers together to close the skills gap between UK business and hidden talent. In 2019-21 EY Foundation are running some Smart Futures and Our Futures programmes specifically for young people in Lewisham.
